Features
Built In
- A servo-electric drive replaces the hydraulic system entirely. A servo motor turns a timing belt and ball screw to move the ram, so the machine runs without hydraulic oil and draws power only during the bend.
- In Durma's own comparison, the AD-ES 2040 uses 40% less energy and delivers 17% more productivity than the equivalent hydraulic press brake, dropping consumption from 5.2 kWh to 3.1 kWh.
- The standard Delem DA-69T control pairs a 17 inch touchscreen with 3D programming and simulation, so the operator can lay out the full bend sequence and check for collisions before the ram moves.
- A CNC controlled motorized crowning system compensates for table deflection across the length of the bend, holding the same angle from one end of the part to the other.
- The X axis back gauge travels 650 mm on a ball screw backed by full linear guides, built for fast positioning, repeat accuracy, and resistance to finger collisions.
- A welded, stress-relieved body and European WILA type tool holding keep the ram rigid and tool changes quick.
Applications
Where It Works
- Turn out precision light-gauge parts while cutting energy cost on every stroke.
- Bend enclosures, panels, and brackets to tight, repeatable angles.
- Keep a smaller shop productive without paying for hydraulic running costs.
