ALMCO Sutton Large Part Finishing
Heavy-duty spindle finishing for turbine disks, blades, blisks, and impellers
- Models
- CFT-2000 to CFT-6000
- Spindle Speed
- 30 to 1200 RPM
- Max Part Diameter
- 18 to 55 in
- Drive
- 30 to 125 HP
CFT Series
The Sutton Centri-Flo Tornado does the work through the spindle. The part rotates at high speed and at varied angles in a tub of vibrating media, and the spindle can sit at angles, swing through the media like a pendulum, and stop mid-cycle to reverse direction. That motion flows media and liquid through the part's features to deburr edges and blend surfaces on turbine disks, blades, blisks, and impellers.

CF Series
One of the three Sutton Centri-Flo large part finishing machines, distinguished from the CFT and CFCA by how the tub and spindle move. Like the rest of the Sutton line, it is a heavy-duty spindle finisher built for high-production deburring and surface blending on turbine disks, blades, blisks, and impellers. Detailed model specifications are not published in the current spec sheet, so the values below are marked for verification.

CFCA Series
One of the three Sutton Centri-Flo large part finishing machines, distinguished from the CF and CFT by how the tub and spindle move. It shares the Sutton mission of high-production deburring and surface blending on turbine disks, blades, blisks, and impellers. Detailed model specifications are not published in the current spec sheet, so the values below are marked for verification.

Features
Built In
- The spindle does the work, swinging and rotating the part through vibrating media so the media flows through every feature to deburr edges and blend surfaces.
- Spindles position at angles, oscillate like a pendulum, and reverse mid-cycle, which reaches the complex geometry of disks, blades, blisks, and impellers.
- PLC touchscreen control, automatic lubrication, a flowmeter, and interlocking safety doors come standard on the CFT.
- Options add a compound dispensing system, hour meter, operator work platform, and tooling for your specific parts.
Applications
Where It Works
- Turbine disks and blisks
- Blades and impellers
- Aerospace and power generation parts
- High-production large-part deburring
